It has been a wonderful month of doing not a lot, except for winding down from garden pottering, to organising and preparing for the coming festive season. It may only be August, but shopping starts to pick up in September, especially from our American friends across the pond, beating the chaos of the peak festive season. It's nearly August, the height of summer, the month we all look forward to lolling around the garden, but in my world, I am already in the festive mood as the time approaches to stock-up the robins. I have to be very careful this Christmas, as I have a massive pagan Yuletide Fayre to plan and organise at the start of November. Summer is finally here – well, for a few days! June is my month off from crafting and creativity, where instead I maintain and potter around the garden, studying colour palettes and plant construction, which will become new card ideas once I start crafting again.
