It's nearly August, the height of summer, the month we all look forward to lolling around the garden, but in my world, I am already in the festive mood as the time approaches to stock-up the robins. I have to be very careful this Christmas, as I have a massive pagan Yuletide Fayre to plan and organise at the start of November. 2026 was to be the year where I downscale to just the popular lines, organise pagan craft fairs at the village hall and spend the year primarily in the garden, drawing, photography studies and general pottering. Review of 2025

I slept on it overnight, as this was not a repair task to be rushed. I had learnt that the shoes were vintage Sophia Webster Jada Pom Pom slides and no longer available, so the pressure was on to find a way to remake the poms

The main feature for this year are my pom poms. It seems to me that people are making a lot more this year

Easy pom pom making has seriously reduced the amount of time it takes to make a pom.
